And the Winner is: Squink by BotFactory!
At MakerCon Bay Area 2015, we introduced Launch Pad, a startup competition highlighting innovating products, devices and solutions. Ten finalists came to MakerCon to pitch their product to a panel of notable judges in competition for a $5000 grand prize, a booth at Maker Faire Bay Area, a profile in Make: magazine and features in the Maker Pro newsletter. The judges included Joanne Domeniconi (The Grommet), Nick Pinkston (Plethora), Rafe Needleman (Yahoo Tech), Gareth Keane (Qualcomm Ventures), and Ann Miura-Ko (Floodgate).
In a narrow victory Squink by BotFactory, a Brooklyn-based start-up emerged as the winner.
Congratulations to BotFactory and to all the Launch Pad finalists for their efforts!
