Partly a mini Maker Faire designed for maker pros, partly a social, networking event in the middle of a packed agenda. Creating an almost magical atmosphere where hardware innovation and creative genius generates spirited ideation.

We are a wearable health monitoring technology that combines activity tracking and Bluetooth capabilities with incentivization and goal setting to improve patient compliance for scoliosis braces.


1Sheeld is a new easily configured shield for Arduino. It is connected to a mobile app that allow the usage of all of Android smartphones' capabilities such as LCD Screen, Gyroscope, Switches, LEDs, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, GSM, Wi-Fi, GPS …etc. into your Arduino sketch.


We developed conductive pens and circuit printer with silver-based conductive ink, which will help you make circuit boards easier.

Automatic Food Slicer Robot

The Automatic Food Slicer is an accessibility robot. It will be able to slice food for those who are unable to due to nerve damage, disease, or disability. It has a similar ease-of-use as a microwave.


BlinkyTile is a DIY light kit. Build your own lamp or decorative piece by soldering together simple tiles, and enjoy the beautiful patterns!

Cornell Cup 2014

The IRIS hand is a semi-autonomous robotic system intended for use in the prosthetic industry. The device utilizes an embedded camera to gather basic shape information of an object, which it then uses to initiate the most appropriate finger pattern for grasping that object. Adaptation of the IRIS system to a prosthesis results in greater ease of use and far greater grip functionality over similar prosthetic devices.

Equity Power

Makers can use these model polar axis tracking solar collectors to develop controllers that not only learn to follow the sun but also log data. They have sun sensors, limit switches and motors that allow tracking both daily and seasonal motion of the sun. It also has sun intensity sensors that enable logging full sky and the energy available directly from the sun. An included PV panel and battery are available for power.


 goTenna is a small, rugged device that pairs with your smartphone and enables you to communicate with those near you who also have goTenna, anywhere on the planet regardless of access to cell reception or wifi. goTenna allows you to send and receive texts and share GPS locations on offline maps, without relying on central connectivity. Plus, because goTenna is end-to-end encrypted, it’s not just for when you’re off-grid, but when you want to be.

I Can Make

At I Can Make, we're building a store full of fun educational things for parents, teachers and children to buy and make on 3D printers, at home or at school. Simple to assemble models of inspirational objects from museum collections. Icons of engineering from Stephenson's Rocket to Spaceship One. The instruction "booklets" are full of educational content, videos, walkthroughs and tutorials. We're teaching children the engineering of the future through the engineering of the past.


 Modio is the new app that let's you build and modify incredible creatures and characters then easily print them using a desktop 3D printer. Modio: build, modify and print to PLAY. 


The PulsePod breaks the genetic code of environmental sensing. Designed by global change biologists, the PulsePod is a versatile hub for collecting data from dozens of smart sensors on forestry, agriculture, water use, and fire danger for adaptive management of ecosystems globally. The low cost of the pod allows granular data to inform granular models, using cellular (esp 2G) communications to propagate data for cloud-based analytics and alerts.
