Cornell Pitch Your Prototype Challenge

A collaboration between Make: and Cornell University, the Pitch Your Prototype challenge asked teams and individuals representing a broad swath of the Maker scene to submit prototype devices they had designed and constructed. Five finalists have been selected. The winner will be announced at MakerCon's Evening of Innovation closing event.


Danit Peleg

3D Fashion Designer
Danit Peleg is a fashion designer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. For her graduate collection at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Danit successfully 3D-printed five outfits solely using home printers. Her collection captivated the attention of millions around the world. She is also the founder of an after-school fashion course for girls ages 7-13 to whom she teaches arts, crafts, the basics for fashion design, and recently, also 3D printing. Danit is always exploring new ways to create innovative textiles and to design fashion with new technologies.


François Delaroziere and Pierre Orefice

François Delaroziere and Pierre Orefice are the authors of Les Machines de L’île de Nantes.The workshop of the Co La Machine is the heart of the project. Every machines is conceived and built there, then tested in interaction with the visitors in the Galerie des Machines. In 2014 the Great Elephant, the Marine Worlds Carrousel and the Galerie welcomed 600 000 visitors at the heart of Jules Verne’s city.The Co La Machine conducted by François Delaroziere exports its machines and urban shows across the world.
